I will admit at first for like the first few episodes I really wanted this anime to be in Italian but then I just imagined it was and got over it even though the voice acting was clearly in Japanese. This show started slow for me I had to take breaks a few times and not because it was bad or anything but because it was a lot of talking and mental calculations you had to do along with the main character. We Angelo or Avilio as his alias follow to see a shaggy bum looking kind of young man living in a run down apartment. And he has received mail and the envelope contains basically a list of names of people from the Vanetti family who murdered his family, the Lagusa in front of him when he was a child. Which is so messed up because these two families were suppose to be on the same side but the Vanetti family wanted to be greedy and be on top. I know right crazy spin. From there the creator makes you watch a small flash back on that night when he was little and how watched his family get killed in front of him and then ran away for survival to his best friend's house, Colteo who became the only family he had left. As we get sent back to the present we now figure out that this is basically an Italian mob story and Avilio's family use to be apart of the Mob until betrayal happened. Now the he formulated a plan to personally destroy this family known as the Vanetti Family and for that to happen he has to keep his enemies very close, so with that he finds a way in the family. Luckily Colteo had been working on a very good strong liquor called Lawless Heaven. This was called Lawless Heaven simply because the town there were in was called Lawless. Not only was this liquor illegal it was also hard to come by in these days since it was during the prohibition era. Avilio starts out by, in my opnion, accidently getting into a shoot out with a unruly character, Fango, a leader of the Orco family and his crew. Now side note you will understand what i mean if you watch this but that Fango man is one seriously sick man. Anyways they get out and both Avilo and Colteo end up with the exact people he was looking for the Vanetti family the oldest son, Nero, the Don's oldest son and Vanno, Nero's subordinate and friend. Later we find out Nero shot at Avilio that night Avilio's family was murdered, but missed terribly, he will regret that shit much later. Using Lawless Heaven Avilio and Colteo gets in with the family and they basically start mass producing it immediately.
As the show goes on a bit he basically kills two birds with one stone because Vanno kills Serpente, Fango's right hand man then Avilio kills Vanno very quickly, but not before he tells him who he is and why he is doing what is doing. Since nobody was around to see it nobody could pin him to that murder. As a plus he used Serpente's body as a cover story saying that Serpente shot Vanno and he shot Serpente so he couldn't get blamed for Vanno's death. And it seems like the law doesn't care if some low level Italian mobsters get put down but the family does and they start looking and find nothing. He covered his tracks very well. And contiues getting close to the family. He steadly starts taking down everyone on his list. Even if it wasn't by his physical hand he calculated it. He even drove Nero's younger brother Frate Vanetti mad. Mad enough to commit suicide in front of Nero.
Going further into the anime don't get too attached to anyone because you will feel some kind of pain for them.
Skipping a bit ahead, all for the sake of his revenge he has to swallow his best friends death because if he showed any kind of hurt in front of the family he would blow his cover. So after his friend dies he becomes a lifeless husk on a mission with no other purpose in life but to succeed. He teams up or pretends to team up with Ganzo Alary because he is greedy and wants the position of Don all to himself and he also sent Avilio the letter and is also one of the names. In my opinion I'm not sure how he thought his life was safe. None the less Avilio did what he did so he can destroy the family with in. They duo makes their move on Vincent the former Don at this point big dream day. Everyone in one big theater watching an opera all the mobs in one place, this can't be good. Unfortunately Avilio gets found out by Valbero, but he doesn't know the whole story so he attempts to beat it out of him. This is where Valbero signed his own death note because instead of calling Nero he just calls Ganzo who obviously helps Avilio out, but it all goes down hill from there. For Ganzo at least. Come to find out Ganzo was planning to betray Avilio by teaming up with Strega Galassia, they both want to be Don of their respective families but Avilio has other plans. He goes into the room Vincent Vanetti and Galassia are in and reveals to both of them who he really is and why he is here pointing a gun at them. Just when i thought he was going to kill Vincent he kills Galassia instead and with that Ganzo and Strega's alliance fall apart because Strega assumes that was Ganzo's real plan so Strega takes care of Ganzo for Avilio which i know he calculated because before he was released by Ganzo earlier, Ganzo asked where did he mess up in the plan and Avilio replied with i think the plan is going just fine. Now back to the shootings, Galassia was Vincent's friend so after seeing his friend get killed in front of him Vincent and Nero reunite but it's too late Vincent dies in Nero's arms from his illness. I guess all the stress and shock finally took a toll on him. So he didn't have to kill him, but I'm sure he knew Vincent was going to die very soon anyways. Which was crazy because now Vincent died without accomplishing his dream, so basically he died without accomplishing his purpose in life, that's just pitiful. As Avilio roams through the hallways of the theater wombed from being tortured earlier he finds a safe exit, but he has lost a ton of blood because he starts hallucinating Colteo as a kid. With all the craziness happening the Galassia family take full advantage of the mess to obliterate Vanetti Family to seize complete control and power. Now i don't think it was a complete accident but i do feel like at this point Avilio was going with the flow. From being exaghsted and bleeding out he was found by Strega in the alley and Nero found out and found where they were keeping him. Nero takes him away from all the commotion there Avilio tells him his story and why he did what he did and how he took from him what he stole from him when he was a kid on that night so long ago.
Skipping forward a bit they have traveled a bit together and they end up traveling towards a beach, but before they get there they make a stop to rest and have a deep talk together. I find it amazing how these two can even sit together but we find out that Avilio was hoping for a reason to live after watching his revenge play out but come to find now he is empty. His reason to live was that revenge plan and now that's over he has no will. At this point I'm not sure why Nero keeps asking Avilio questions about what he did and why he did it. Avilio is not sorry at all and Nero gets nothing out of it but pure hatred and anger. At this point we see Avilio crack a bit because Nero wants to blam him for everything but Avilio basically told him that night he shouldn't have missed and actually killed him. I personally think these two shared a love for a each other. I don't me like BL or nothing but a brotherly love. Because as they travel together to the beach Nero gets comfortable and starts treating him like a traveling buddy instead of a prisoner.
As we finally reach the beach Nero shoots Avilio and i felt a slight relief for him because his pain and suffering is over, but before he does shoot him Avilio tells Nero he didn't want to kill him simply because he didn't want to. Now after killing Avilio Nero drives away and we clearly see he already misses Avilio, but forces a smile out as he drives away.
Now I know you may be thinking well damn why do I want to watch the end. Stay with me on this thought what if he wanted to die because he had nothing else to live for all his loved ones were taken from the Vanetti Family. And him dying was apart of his elaborate but sometimes improvised plans. Because think about it, now Nero has the same thing Avilio had to grow up with and he has to live like that now, with no family or loved ones, he even is sad about killing the murder of his entire family. I feel our main character was taking the "there are worst things than death" approach. I for one think that was brilliant of him. And he just let go at the end and laughed because this guy will be a lifeless husk until he dies. He gets to feel what he felt and that made this anime that much more amazing. Until next time Lexi out.

Mob Psycho 100
*Contains Spoilers*
This anime was very controversal on a lot forms. I personally liked it. It's from the same creator of one punch man which I still haven't seen yet but I do own it so one day I'll get to it. But from what I hear it's exactly like one punch man in the sense of the man character is over powering and always comes out on top while being obnoxious in the best way all at the same time. Now until I see one punch man I can't compare and contrast the two. But Mob was great.
We meet this young high schooler freshman presumably that has very strong ESP bit doesn't want to use it because he just wants to be normal and right now a girl is the bane of his existence, a girl he has liked since he meet her in middle school. But this girl is into buff guys and interesting guys like any normal teenage girl would be, but Mob lacks all of that. He is interesting when it comes to ESP but other than that he is weak and feeble and the anime shows that all too hilariously well.
Now Mob isn't just full of hilarity and obnoxious scenes. It was some level of deepness going on too. And a ton of unanswered questions which I hope they get the budget to back because I want answers damn it.
The reason the show is called Mob Psycho 100 is simple but great. His name is Mob. He has Psycho powers. And when he reaches 100 to just about any emotion some out of this world stuff happens. Like litterally, he fought this other ESP kid from a different school and he beat him so bad that he sent him out of this world ass naked it was so great I loved it. But that version of Mob petrified me because when Mob is knocked out some other version of him that has no face comes out to play and can just obliterate everything. And Mob is sad that happens so he does his best to not reach 100 of any emotion or get knocked out.
The show took a slight serious turn when his brother got kidnapped by mistake because he was the people that kidnapped him thought he was Mob. We got to see the angry impatient Mob and that was just as terrifying. He actually banged this one guy around in a hallway from ceiling to floor to adjacent walls and then stuck his head through the ceiling. That was the best one sided fight i have ever seen. Normally i hate one sided fights but that i felt Mob's anger and it was just great.
Pushing a little forward we learn that the guys after Mob are more than the small group that was after him its a very huge faction. Which makes me hope for a season two but it might take some time because everyone i have spoken with on a personal level feel that it was just a One Punch Man but with ESP and a younger character. I don't mind shows that are similar because if it was great the first time and worked and everyone loved it then why not do it again i understand if that was the creators mindset. It is simple and understandable and i like that. But i feel like if people start to support Mob Psycho 100 then it will have a season 2 in the works and that will slowly start to separate it from it's older brother One Punch Man, but I'm sure because the people want it One Punch man will get it's season 2 first and that might unfortunately keep Mob forever in it's shadows, but hey hope for the best you know. Until next time Lexi out

Berserk the anime Season 2
*Contains spoilers*
This anime is just down right amazing. The whole Beserk production has captured anyone who has seen any parts of it. From the old anime series to the 3 movies (wishing for 4 and 5) to this current anime series. Now I noticed most people on forms and on other blogs have watched this current series and was a little taken aback by the 3D shadowing. Some fans seeing this were just turned off completely by this anime and stopped watching it. Now I am here to tell you there is a reason for that. Most of the old die hard fans those which include the ones that grew up with it and read the manga understand and loved this anime. I was told personally by the creator himself at anime expo 2016 that they went the 3D route because they want to stay close to the manga. After hearing that and watching the 1st and 2nd episode, that made me fall in love with Beserk all over again. It brought on this level of nostalgia. Now if your still with me let's dig into the anime its self. We got to see a more level headed Gutts or as level headed as you can get in his messed up situation. They don't hold back on the action in the first episode he is already swinging the huge heap of metal at demons. As we follow Gutts on his journey they go into Catholicism. He is on the hunt for the "Apostles" so he can reach Griffith or also know as Femto now. All Gutts wants is his revenge on Griffith and/or Femto, get his woman Casca back to normal because she mentally reverted to being a baby because she was raped by Femto meaning his demon form. Haha, yes this series is deep and gritty. Season one is a definite watch before this. Gutts also wishes for peace, we think. He has shown moments that he loves the fight and other times where he just would like to sleep. Being hunted endlessly is a full time gig.
This season showed me the Dog in Gutts, which made me delighted because the Dog is a demon that attached its self to Gutts which he was in basically hell, the Eclipe. This demon comes out in facial features a lot though out the anime when Gutts shows any emotion to the extreme. Its so beautiful how they did that.
I will say Gutts is skilled but is also very lucky because there are times he and or Casca could have died but were saved, by their demon child or just dumb luck.
Now to touch a little on this child we want to assume is a good demon because Casca was pregnant before she was raped and because she got raped by a high ranking demon bam! Demon baby, simple enough I think. He shows himself through out the series as well but you must pay attention because he doesn't take his orignal manga form.
Progressing the story a bit he basically beats the apostles in his way the creators want to show us and after fighting to find Casca, oh yea did I mention she just walked off while he was off traveling beating apostles to find Femto. The whole show almost he is looking for her because a grown woman's body and mentally being 5 year old is dangerous. She actually almost gets raped again by some random guy. Thankfully Gutts actually gets to her but you can tell it's close to the end of the series because Gutts is gearing for a boss fight and we are seeing more of the Dog come out of him more.
Because I want you to watch and support this anime I won't dig into too many details but I will say that was a pure Gutts fight and it was amazing him fighting the priest.
When the priest became basically an unwilling sacrifice to the demons for the new Eclipe. Which confused me a little bit because I remember the sacrifices or better yet the Eclipse only happen once every 100 years or so. At this point from the last eclipse it's only been a few years. So I was scared for Gutts at this point because now the demons after him and Casca were more frequent and because those two gracefully missed being sacrificed the last time for the sake of Femto's demonic power I assume that's why the eclipse are happening more often because that's the only way to they are allowed to sacrifice Gutts and Casca. But that's just my opinion, back to my point at hand. After the priest is out of the picture we then see the infamous Zodd appear. At first I was like, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god its about to be some crazy fight between Zodd and The Skull Kight again and I prepared my self for that excitement. But something even better happened. We got to see Zodd act like a servant for about 5 minutes. To serve whom you ask, the one and only Femto but he is in his human form I guess he got tired of Gutts and Casca running so he came down, or up whatever works for you, to take care of the issue himself. As much as you would feel that being the case Berserk season 1 actually told us that Femto was just causing havoc for Gutts and seem to enjoy tormenting his former best friend.
All things aside this anime was amazing and really showed me a great representation of the Berserk as a whole from Gutts, to the fight science, to the gritty cringing sciences. It just made me love Berserk even more. I am sure I left out a lot of characters like Puck, Farnese de Vandimion accompanied by Serpico, Isidro and the witch, Schierke we see pieces off to name a few but what can I see I may have spoilers but I like leaving mystery too otherwise i feel like you would watch you would just read my summery of the anime. With that being said I hope reading this makes you want to watch and support it because we all know this anime and the team behind it need our love and support to continue and I wish to see more of it. Now I won't say I know all about it. I am so far behind the manga it's almost laughable so there are some details I'm sure that went over my head. Until next time Lexi out.
